Before attending graduate school at School of Visual Arts for Illustration as Visual Essay under the direction of Marshall Arisman, I was an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University for over 5 years covering various courses over the semester (Photoshop, Illustrator, Intro. to Illustration, Digital Photography, Foundational Drawing). As a freelance artist I have done projects for The New York Times, Nature Medicine, Nylon Magazine, Soul Lovers Entertainment, Planet Earth Skateboards, Vessel Drinkware, Dragonfly Magazine, etc. I have received awards/been recognized by The Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, Adobe Design Achievement, Richmond Illustrators Club, etc. Here is some additonal info. I work hard and I care about the products I make. When I am not working, I spend time with my wife and dog, skateboard or looking for a new vegetarian restaurant in the constant changing enviornment of New York City.
